Commsult provided design and engineering support for Pfizer’s BT Group (Business Telecommunications) and PGE (Pfizer Global Engineering) for 685 Third Avenue as well as the entire NYC campus along 42nd Street. For this particular project we engineered a new data center and voice communications room with all new copper and fiber riser cables to the 10 Pfizer occupied floors and the cafeteria on the 2nd floor. Commsult engineered one floor at a time as per the construction schedule to Pfizer’s global standard, which we created, and oversaw the entire installation to ensure the awarded IT contractors adhered to the engineered plans and specifications as well as Pfizer’s standards and local codes.
