Commsult worked with Dish Network to provide MEP engineering / consulting for the development of bid and construction documents for 57,000 rentable square feet for new occupancy. This work included reworking of lobby, work stations, conference rooms, private offices, technology labs, kitchens and expansion of the existing lavatories. Work also was conducted for the installation of a 1,250 kW diesel generator, to be located adjacent to the building, automatic transfer switches and associated modifications to the building’s main electrical switchgear. Survey work was also conducted in order to obtain approval by the township’s planning / zoning board.
Commsult was involved in the demolition of existing office space, installation of a new lighting pattern, modification of the existing HVAC system and distribution duct work to accommodate the new floor plans, modification of the existing electrical system to accommodate the new floor and lighting plans including furniture and convenience receptacles, coordinated the relocation of electrical panels and transformers. Commsult also provided all floor and lighting plans with all electrical requirements, modification of the existing plumbing to accommodate expansion of the lavatories, modification of the building’s existing fire alarm system and modification of the building’s existing sprinkler system.
