Bayer consolidated four locations into a single existing location at 67 Whippany Road, Hanover Township, New Jersey, bringing together three business groups (2,475 employees) into a 723,830 square foot facility consisting of 648,830 square feet of workplace and 75,000 square feet of amenities. The project consisted of ongoing separate construction projects and moves.
Responsible for pre-design, design and documentation, including all required signed and sealed documents, of a complete and fully functional IT telecommunications and data structured cable and backbone system from Point of Entry (“POE”) to termination, including terminal low volt device for all spaces
Pre-design, design and documentation, including all required documents, of a complete and fully functional Security system, including all: access control (including but not limited to site access such as integrated automated gates, turnstiles, man traps, delayed egress security/ safety systems), Intrusion detection, closed circuit television, digital video cameras and recorders, security command and control center console components (to include remote monitoring capabilities) and mobile hand-held communications and all related repeaters and antennae for the site, building and interiors for all spaces. The site called for a complete perimeter fence. COMMSULT designed an integrated automated gate system (for off hours) and articulating vehicle access points at three locations.
